Susquehanna Bank is pleased to announce that Thomas Gillen has joined the company as President of the Susquehanna Mortgage Division.
He will be responsible for the bank’s mortgage business and the loans retain by the bank and those loans sold into the Secondary Market. His areas of responsibility will include mortgage loan originations and operations, risk management, and mortgage loan servicing retention. Gillen will be working out of Susquehanna’s Mortgage Operational Hub at 3501 Concord Rd., York and out of the bank’s Regional office at 307 International Circle, Hunt Valley, MD.
Gillen has 28 years of experience in the mortgage industry, and he worked most recently as Senior Vice President and Head of Secondary Marketing at First Niagara Bank.
A resident of Eldersburg, MD, Gillen serves on the American Bankers Association operating committee focused on mortgage issues and on advisory committees for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
He graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
