Susquehanna Bank has launched a Mobile Deposit App that allows customers to make a deposit by taking a picture of a check with their smart phone.
“We’re always looking for ways to make banking easier, faster and more convenient, and this new app gives our customers the power to make a deposit anywhere, anytime,” said Melissa Hoffman, Senior Vice President and Director of Product Support and Service Delivery for Susquehanna Bank. “Mobile Deposit is a great extension of our online and mobile banking services.”
In just a few steps, customers can conveniently and securely deposit a check into their checking account. After enrolling and downloading the app, simply endorse your check, choose the account to receive the deposit, enter the amount of the check, take a picture of the front and back of the check, and submit the deposit.
Susquehanna’s Mobile Deposit is free for personal customers and is available to any customer with an eligible checking account. The Mobile Deposit App is available for iPhone®, AndroidTM or Blackberry users.
It’s the latest mobile service introduced by the bank. A Mobile Banking App was introduced in September 2012. With the Mobile Banking App, customers can easily check account balances, transfer funds, view account transactions and pay bills.
