Matthew Paugh, Assistant Vice President and Market Manager at Susquehanna Bank, was one of 12 bankers recently recognized by the Maryland Bankers Association as a “Next Leader in Banking.”
Paugh was recognized at an awards luncheon to honor bankers throughout Maryland who are considered rising stars in their profession who have made significant contributions to their institutions and the communities in which they serve.
Paugh has worked for Susquehanna Bank for five years. His office is located at 305 E. Oak St., Oakland.
A resident of Kitzmiller, Paugh is active in industry and community organizations as a member of Garrett County Community Action Board of Directors, United Way of Garrett County Executive Committee, Kitzmiller Lions Club, Kitzmiller Town Council, Hospice of Garrett County, the Elk Garden Charge of the United Methodist Church, and the Kitzmiller Charter School Initiative Inc.
Paugh graduated from Messiah College with a bachelor’s degree in Religion, Evangel University with a master’s degree in Theology and the Maryland Banking School.
