Susquehanna Bank is pleased to announce that Jay Shannon has joined the company as an agricultural lender for Susquehanna Bank’s Ag Lending Group. Susquehanna Bank now has 10 team members fully dedicated to agricultural lending and has the third largest agricultural portfolio among commercial banks in Pennsylvania.
Shannon will provide lending and banking services to agricultural producers and agribusinesses in Lancaster, Lebanon, Chester, York, Adams and Cumberland Counties. He will be based at Susquehanna’s Blue Ball office at 1060 Main Street, Blue Ball.
Shannon previously worked as a loan officer at MidAtlantic Farm Credit in Lancaster and has 31 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.
A resident of Landisville, Shannon is active in industry and community organizations as a member of PennAg Industries, the American Mushroom Institute and as an assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 349 in Mountville.
Shannon graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture.
